When your hormone levels decline, the vaginal lining becomes thinner and your ability to produce lubrication becomes less efficient. All these can contribute to the pain and discomfort you experience.

I’m wondering what it could be..? It’s very flaky and I could sometimes peel off and see scaly-like dead skin after peeling it off. What could this possibly be? Thanks.

Could just be dermatitis. You might be allergic to something in your shampoo or soap. A light steroid cream should clear it up.

go seer a doctor to make sure its nothing, especially if your sexually active!
