I’ve heard that labs have found particles of talc in tumors that were taken from women’s uteruses and some doctors think that the talc actually causes the tumors. You can use cornstarch, may be a bit safer.
Do NOT use baby powder or any other kind of talcum powder. Use cornstarch. You can get cornstarch powder that smells like baby powder wherever you find diapers, cleansers and other baby stuff.
Outer lips should be ok, but never inner lips. It’s fine in underwear, too.
You should be careful … since it’s mostly mucous membrane down there it’s dangerous to apply things that can clog it however if you really want to powder your vagina there are products available specifically for that.
