One of the biggest problems, vaginal dryness, is a common yet uncomfortable problem. One of the vital hormones for vagina health ensures the elasticity of your vaginal tissues, the production of natural lubricants and protection against infection. When your hormone levels decline, the vaginal lining becomes thinner and your ability to produce lubrication becomes less efficient. All these can contribute to the pain and discomfort you experience.

Now I'm sure you'll agree... it's good to finally know exactly WHY you're suffering.

But a fast, safe, effective solution would be even better, right?

For a while now when my fiance and I are making love I become very dry after I have an orgasm; and the sex becomes very painful after that because I am rubbed raw. I recently had an orgasm with no discharge i.e. it was a dry orgasm. What could cause this, is it serious, how can I fix it? FYI; I can’t go see a doctor because I have no health insurance.

I second the KY jelly idea but you still have to find a way to see a gynecologist, especially if you are planning on having a family sometime in the future. Having no insurance should not be an excuse, you can still go to a clinic for an annual checkup…it is that important. Please consider that this problem needs the attention of a gyn not people off the internet. There are really no ‘quick fixes’ to good vaginal and reproductive health. Good luck!
